MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® POM 770/1 SI2 is a heat-stabilized, improved sliding/wear Polyoxymethylene Copolymer with a 2% silicone filler/additive system. It is typically used for bearings and sliding elements, functional components, gear wheels, and roller bearings in the automotive and machinery market segments. For processing injection molding, the melt temperature should be between 180-220°C and the mold temperature should be between 60-120°C. It should be pre-dried in a dry air (desiccant) dryer at 100-110°C for 2-3 hours or an air circulating dryer at 100-110°C for 3-5 hours depending on moisture content.
