MOCOM Compounds ALFATER® XL A50I 2GP0000 is a thermoplastic vulcanisate (PP+EPDM) with natural color and black color that is used for injection molded parts. It has good recovery, weathering resistance, chemical resistance, ozone resistance, hot air resistance and hydrolysis resistance. The black color meets the requirements for weathering dry, hot (Kalahari, PV3929) and weathering moist, hot (Florida, PV3930). ALFATER® XL A50I 2GP0000 is used in the market segments of automotive, building and construction, electrical and electronic, machinery, and furniture and its application areas are injection molded parts. Typical applications are seals, sealing lip, handles, soft touch elements, impact protection/shock absorber, protection caps, cable ducts, plugs, fastener & connector, and 2K components. It has adhesion to polypropylene homopolymer, polypropylene copolymer, polyethylene, thermoplastic vulcanisate (PP+EPDM), thermoplastic olefin elastomer and thermoplastic elastomer general. It is widely used across industry applications and provides a great combination of properties.
