MOCOM Compounds TEDUR® L 9217-1 S is a polyphenylene sulfide base polymer filled with 65% glass fiber/mineral and is used in the automotive, machinery, and lighting market segments. It has special features such as high stiffness, hot oil resistance, and good hydrolysis resistance, and is typically used for highly stressed parts. Pre-drying conditions should be done in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer at 130-140°C for 2-4 hours, depending on the moisture content. Processing injection molding should be done at a melt temperature of 320-340°C and a mold temperature of greater than 140°C.
