ELASTOSIL® R plus 4806/30 MH is suitable for the manufacture of molded articles like multi cavity seals for technical applications. Specially thick walled articles can take advantage of this fast curing material.
Processing
- This material can be processed on conventional silicone rubber injection molding equipment.
- The platinum catalyst can be de-activated already by amines or sulfur components in the air.

- ELASTOSIL® R plus 4806/30 MH is a fast curing silicone rubber exhibiting excellent cut resistance. Thanks to addition cure, the vulcanization reaction is significantly faster compared to peroxide curing materials. No peroxide decomposition products are formed during vulcanization.
- The addition of heat stabilizers at service temperatures of more than 180 °C is recommended.
- Note
Cure conditions: 15 min,165 °C in press, post-cured 4 h / 200 °C for cured properties.

Storage & Handling

Please store the cardboard boxes in a dry and cool place. Once opened, cardboard boxes should always be resealed after use to prevent the platinum catalyst from being poisoned by amines, sulfur or phosphorus compounds.
