MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® CFX PBT 1000 16072 is a polybutylene terephthalate with a metallic effect and is used in applications such as housings, bezels, and injection molded parts in the electrical and electronic, building and construction, and sport and leisure markets. For proper use, it must be pre-dried in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer at 100-120°C for 2-4 h, or in an air circulating dryer at 100-120°C for 4-8 h depending on moisture content. Injection molding should be done by melting the material at 250-270°C and molding at 60-100°C. To ensure optimal performance, it should be stored in a light-protected environment and used within a reasonable time.
