PEXIDAN® L/T-UV is a high density PEX system consisting of a silane grafted basecompound A-1001 and a catalyst masterbatch CAT-003 (or A-1022 and CAT-117). When mixed and extruded in the proper proportions, the two-component system results in a material that is crosslinkable by exposure to moisture or by immersion in hot water at 90-95°C. PEXIDAN® L/T is listed by NSF International to standards 14 and 61 and to Canadian Standards Association standard B137.5. NSFI certification to ASTM F876 and ASTM F2023 testifies to its superior resistance to oxidation by hot, chlorinated water. PEXIDAN® L/T is permitted to be used in domestic continuous re-circulation systems and is listed by NSF as a NSF-pw CL5 / PEX 5006 material.

PEXIDAN® J/T is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pregrafted base compound A-3001 and a flame-retardant catalyst masterbatch CAT-012FR. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (60:40), the two components result in a material that is curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. PEXIDAN® J/T is designed to meet SAE J1128 standards for GXL, TXL and SXL type insulation. PEXIDAN® J/T is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant.

PEXIDAN® HF X/T is a unique low smoke halogen free flame retardant 90°C wet-rated XL-insulation system curable by moisture. It consists of a silane pre-grafted base compound SX651 and a catalyst masterbatch CM540U. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (95:5), the two components result in a material that is crosslinkable by exposure to 90°C hot water. PEXIDAN® HF X/T is REACH and RoHS-compliant and is UL 2885 certified to bear the Halogen Free “HF” designation. PEXIDAN® HF X/T is UL-bulletinized and wire made with this insulation system may be marked as Oil Resistant “PR I” and “PR II”, Gas & Oil Resistant “GR I” and “GR II”, “-40C” and “SUNRES” in all colors. This compound will meet a 105°C dry rating.

PEXIDAN® X/T-UV is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pre-grafted base compound A-3001 and a flame-retardant catalyst masterbatch CAT-005FR-UV1. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions the two-component system results in a material that is curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. PEXIDAN® X/T-UV is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant. UL44 type insulation may be marked SUNRES or SR in all colors for sizes of 6 AWG and larger. UL4703 photovoltaic insulation may be marked SUNRES in all sizes and colors

EXTINITY® 0202-103 is a highly loaded masterbatch of brominated flame retardant pre-dispersed in a polypropylene carrier. It has been designed for use in variety of compounding applications. The pellet form makes the flame retardant easier to handle, more efficient, and can lower overall costs. The product is RoHS compliant.

EXTINITY® 0218-108 is a highly loaded flame-retardant concentrate that can be used for a variety of polystyrene-based applications. This concentrate has been designed to be used in High Impact Polystyrene, but is also effective in the entire styrenic family including general purpose polystyrene grades. EXTINITY® 0218-108 provides excellent flame-retardant performance while having minimal impact on mechanical properties and processibility. Varying the use rate of 0218-108 will permit the final compound to meet UL-94 V-0, V-1 or V-2 requirements.

LINXIDAN® LX4433 is a Maleated HDPE Coupling Agent designed specifically to chemically bind natural fibers to HDPE in Wood-Plastic Composites. Coupling fibers to the HDPE matrix, in a 50% wood-filled system, reduces moisture uptake while increasing flexural modulus by 20% and overall flexural strength by 90%.

EXTINITY® 0202-102 is 48% active flame retardant masterbatch additive dispersed in co-polymer polypropylene (coPP) carrier. EXTINITY® 0202-102 can be added to polypropylene base resin and achieve flame retardant performance to meet UL vertical burn performance (UL V-0 and UL V-2).

EXTINITY® 0101-108 is a halogenated, flame retardant compound specifically designed for use in plenum tube applications. This compound has good thermal stability and can be converted easily on standard processing equipment.

PEXIDAN® V/T-2 is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane-grafted base compound A-3001 and a catalyst masterbatch CAT-045FR. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (50/50), the two components result in a material that is curable by exposure to hot water. PEXIDAN® V/T-2 is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant.

PEXIDAN® H/T is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pregrafted base compound A-3001 and a flame-retardant catalyst masterbatch CAT-012FR. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (67/33) this mixture results in a material curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. PEXIDAN® H/T is listed with CSA for AWM and CL1251, CL1252 & CL1503, and for UL AWM styles 3173 and 3321. See below for a more complete list of suitable AWM styles. PEXIDAN® V/T is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silanegrafted base compound A-3001 and a flame-retardant catalyst masterbatch CAT-010FR. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (50/50), the two components result in a material that is curable by exposure to hot water. PEXIDAN® V/T is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant.

THERMODAN® CP 0110-108 NT is a natural, UV resistant, Lead-free, RoHS compliant, Thermoplastic CPE compound. It is designed for use in a wide variety of jacketing applications including wire and cable and tube bundles. This compound has superior fire performance; including slow flame propagation, and self-extinguishing characteristics. THERMODAN® CP 0110-108 NT should be extruded with a screw configuration designed to optimize process conditions and throughput. This extrusion compound meets, or exceeds, several industry jacketing specifications, including UL 1277 tray cable. THERMODAN® CP 0110-108 NT has been designed to be optionally cross-linked by e-beam irradiation in order to further toughen the material and provide for a thermoset CPE compound. Additional information regarding recommended e-beam dosing is available upon request.

THERMODAN® HF TP 543CBU has been developed specially to comply with the requirements of BS7655- 6.1 for types LTS1, 3 and 4; EN 50290-2-27 and HD 604 for type HM2 and HD 604 for type HM4. Cables made with TP543C have complied with IEC 60332, part 22, 23 & 24 – 1 and 3 fire tests.

PEXIDAN® SX546 pre-grafted base is mixed with crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM493CD, for small cross sections, or CM497CD, in the ratio 95:5, for a 125ºC working temperature system. This system has ambient cure.

LINXIDAN® LX4520 is a polyolefin copolymerized with a siloxane functionality, designed to improve compatibility and mechanical properties of polymer compounds.

THERMODAN® HF TP521NU has been developed specially to comply with the requirements of BS7655 Section 6 for types LTS1, 2, 3 and 4; EN 50290-2-27 for type HM2 and HD 604 for type HM4. Cables made with TP521 have passed the 3m3 smoke density chamber test to IEC 61034-2.

THERMODAN® HF TP519CB has been developed specially to offer good processability, very fast extrusion process with very low die drool.

PEXIDAN® SX409NT pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM401 in the ratio 95:5. The SX409NT:CM401 system has been developed specifically for cables operating up to 36kV. The graft compound contains a non-staining stabilizer and an effective tree retarder, giving outstanding long term retention of dielectric strength. This compound is typically used in conjunction with crosslinkable semi-conducting material for conductor and insulation shields. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only.

THERMODAN® HF TP519C has been developed specially to offer good processability, very fast extrusion process with very low die drool.

THERMODAN® HF TP832BUT has been developed specially to comply with the requirements of BS7655 Section 6 for types LTS1, 2, 3 and 4; EN 50290-2-27 for type HM2 and HD 604 for type HM4. Cables sheathed with TP832 have received LPCB approval.

EXTINITY® 0101-205 should be extruded with a screw configuration designed to optimize process conditions and throughput.

THERMODAN® HF TP812NU has been developed specially to offer good processability, fast extrusion process with very low die drool. TP812 is capable of meeting the flame retardant requirements of UL 1666, UL 1685, IEEE 1202, FT-4 in specific fiber optic constructions. It is also recognized as halogen free under UL 2885. It can be extruded using PVC extruders and screws. It possesses excellent tensile and flame retardant properties and meets the requirements of limited toxic and corrosive fume emission

THERMODAN® HF TP343NT is a Patent Pending High Performance, Low Smoke Halogen-Free, Thermoplastic Wire and Cable Compound. This compound has superior fire performance, low smoke production and contains no halogens. When used as a jacket for Fiber Optic Cables, TP343NT can assist the cable maker in meeting the stringent new European CPR Regulations at the B2ca Classification (Cable Design Dependant | Actual Results May Vary). THERMODAN® HF TP343NT is natural in color, UV resistant, and is certified Halogen Free by UL to UL2885

THERMODAN® HF 0103-212 BK is a black, non-halogen thermoplastic wire and cable compound. It is designed for use in a wide variety of jacketing applications. This compound has superior fire performance; including slow flame propagation, self-extinguishing characteristics, and low smoke production. It is suitable for use as a jacket compound for cables recognized under UL 1277 tray cables and can pass flame retardant requirements set forth under UL 1685, IEEE 1202 and FT-4. THERMODAN® HF 0103-212 BK is recognized under UL 2885 as being halogen free. It is UV resistant and RoHS compliant.

THERMODAN® HF TP 543CBT has been developed specially to comply with the requirements of BS7655- 6.1 for types LTS1, 3 and 4; EN 50290-2-27 and HD 604 for type HM2 and HD 604 for type HM4. Cables made with TP543C have complied with IEC 60332, part 22, 23 & 24 – 1 and 3 fire tests.

THERMODAN® HF TP835 has been developed specially to comply with the requirements of BS7655 Section 6 for types LTS1, 2, 3 and 4; EN 50290-2-27 for type HM2 and HD 604 for type HM4. Cables made with TP835 have passed the 3m3 smoke density chamber test to IEC 61034-2.

PEXIDAN® HF SX612ES pre-grafted base is mixed with catalyst masterbatch CM602 or CM601, in an addition rate between 5% and 10%, depending on extrusion conditions. This system has ambient cure. PEXIDAN® HF SX612ES has been designed to meet the requirements of IEC 60092-351 HF90, EN 50363-5, EI5 type, EN 50525-1 and EN 50525-3-41, with enhanced fire resistance to comply with fire testing on smaller cross sections.

LINXIDAN® LX4436 is a maleated polyolefin Coupling Agent designed for alloying dissimilar materials to improve physical properties. Suggested loading levels are between 1 and 4 wt% depending on the specific materials being compounded, particular physical property of interest and level of improvement desired in the identified property.

THERMODAN® HF TP870NU has been developed specially to meet general requirements of BS 7655 Section 6.1 type LTS 1.

PEXIDAN® U/T is a low density XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pre-grafted base compound A-3001 and a catalyst masterbatch CAT-008. When mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (95/5), the two components result in a material curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. In order to prevent pre-scorching the grafted compound and the catalyst masterbatch must be stored separately and mixed only when used. PEXIDAN® U/T is RoHS-compliant. PEXIDAN® U/T is also suitable for medium voltage XLPE jacket applications not requiring flame retardancy.
