MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® PC 740/36 FR UV CC1209-09LD is a polycarbonate base polymer containing a special filler and halogen-free flame retardant, with UV stabilization and light scattering and processing stabilization. It is suitable for automotive, lighting, electrical and electronic applications and is best suited for display elements, operating elements, and light transparent components. Pre-drying should be done at 120°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-4 h, 120°C in an air circulating dryer for 4-12 h, and the maximum moisture content should be <0.02%. For processing injection molding, the melt temperature should be 270-310°C and the mold temperature should be 80-110°C.
