Antifoams for Household & Cleaning
- Application Details
- Basically, SILFOAM® SD 650 is recommended for all organic systems that require a highly compatible antifoam agent.
- SILFOAM® SD 650 is particularly recommended as filling aid in production processes and as defoamer for cleaners (general-purpose cleaners, disinfectant cleaners, glass cleaners, floor polishes).
Processing- The exact dosage must be determined in preliminary tests. We recommend starting with amounts between 0.05% and 0.3%.
- Generally, the product should be added as it is, as its self-dispersing properties will usually ensure an adequate and homogeneous distribution.
- If SILFOAM® SD 650 is diluted with water, the resultant dispersion must be used quickly.
