SILFOAM® SC 369 is recommended:
- For enhancing the effect of organic defoamers.
- In applications where the use of silicones can cause problems, e.g., in the textile, paint and lacquer sectors and in cooling lubricants.
- Application Details
- SILFOAM® SC 369 may be added as it is at high shear rates or in the form of a dispersion.
- The degree of dilution should be as low as possible.
- Suitable dispersing agents include ethanol, 2-propanol, acetone and 2-ethyl hexanol.
- The exact dosage has to be determined in preliminary tests.
- We recommend starting with amounts between 0.02 and 0.5 %.
