Wacker Chemie Hexachloroacetone (HCA)

Wacker Chemie Hexachloroacetone (HCA) is a clear, colorless to yellowish liquid with a characteristic, slightly pungent odor. It serves as a precursor for deuterochloroform and is used in the manufacturing process of hexafluorobisphenol A as a crosslinking agent for fluorocarbon elastomers. HCA also functions as a chlorination agent for drugs and is a building block for agrochemical substances/actives.
