SIPELL® AE 45 is a nonionic macroemulsion of an amino-functional silicone fluid. It is primarily used as a hand-modifying additive to provide a pleasant, soft-soap hand feel. SIPELL® AE 45 finds its main application in the treatment of leather for cloth and furniture, where it helps enhance the tactile properties and softness of the treated material.

Application Details
  • SIPELL® AE 45 can both be used in the wet-end processing and in pure water-based finishing systems.
  • Due to possible compatibility problems pre-tests are necessary if the cationic aminosilicone component is mixed with anionic greasing additives.
  • Suitable concentrations should be adjusted to 0.5 % on weight of Crust.
