WACKER® E 3154 is a nonionic oil-in-water emulsion containing a medium-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane. It maintains stability against shear stress, even in diluted form. The emulsion demonstrates outstanding wetting and spreading properties. It can be easily incorporated into cold-stirred formulations. WACKER® E 3154 is suitable for formulating universal release agents used in rubber processing.

Application Details
  • WACKER® E 3154 can be used for the formulation of universal release agents in rubber processing. Furthermore, the emulsion is suitable best for the formulation of paint and vinyl conditioners.
  • The active agent contained supports an easy polishing of the conditioner formulations and improves the brightness. As component of slip emulsions in rotary offset printing, WACKER® E 3154 improves the heat resistance of the paper web and reduces its sensitivity to shear.
  • WACKER® E 3154 bestows good antiblocking properties on the paper web making it resistant to mechanical stress and letting it glide over the rollers very easily. WACKER® E 3154 has to be stirred well before use.
