It provides a very fast and non-shrink cure at room temperature, allowing for efficient and reliable mold-making. The main application of ELASTOSIL® P 26028 A/B is in the production of shrink-free molds with excellent reproduction accuracy.

Application Details

ELASTOSIL® P 26028 is used for the production of anti-decubitus cushions with an outer skin of polyurethane film.

Processing

Components A and B are mixed in a ratio of 1 : 1, air bubbles have to be removed by evacuation.

Important note:

  • The platinum catalyst is in component A.
  • Only A and B components with the same batch number may be processed together.
