- WACKER® TNE 50 is used for the formulation of release agents for the thermal molding of rubber, plastics, and lowmelting non-ferrous metals. The active ingredient of WACKER® TNE 50 is a modified silicone fluid whose special chemical structure imbues it with the benefits of silicone fluids and mineral oils. It is mainly recommended for release problems where the demoulded parts are subsequently painted, printed, coated or bonded.
- The specific non-ionic emulsifier system in WACKER® TNE 50 facilitates the combination with emulsions of other actives. In addition, WACKER® TNE 50 may be easily diluted with water at any time. Though being diluted, it exhibits good storage stability. However, preliminary trials on compatibility and stability must be performed.
- Before use, WACKER® TNE 50 must be stirred thoroughly.
