ELASTOSIL® LR 6260 A/B is a liquid silicone rubber with low viscosity to produce textile coatings. It is especially well suitable for the manufacturing of electrical sleevings.
Processing
- ELASTOSIL® LR 6260 A/B is processed by thorough mixing of component A and B in a ratio of 1 : 1.
- Recommended curing conditions: 3 min at 150°C or 1 min at 180°C.
- Adhesion of ELASTOSIL® LR 6260 A/B depends on substrate and can be improved with additives (e.g. CATALYST C05 or adhesion promoters). Preliminary testing should be carried out to determine optimum formulation and cure conditions.
