ELASTOSIL® M 4641 A/B is a room-temperature-curing silicone rubber (RTV-2) that is pourable and utilizes addition-curing. It consists of two components and vulcanizes at room temperature. The main application of ELASTOSIL® M 4641 A/B is in vacuum casting for rapid prototyping, especially if crystal-clear casting resins are used. This grade is also compliant with FDA and BfR regulations for food contact applications.

Application Details
  • High-performance silicone mold-making compound which is particularly suitable for reproducing models with undercuts in polyurethane or epoxy resins.
  • Main field of application: Vacuum casting for rapid prototyping especially suitable if crystal-clear casting resins are used.
