- Application Details
- ELASTOSIL N 294 is particularly suited for screen-printing. It can be applied and cured on diverse substrates. It works both on sulfur containing or sulfur free substrates. Typical use is screen printing on fiber based cylinder head gaskets.
- If a top coating is needed, condensation cure materials have to be used to avoid contact inhibition effects. Some filler may settle during transport and storage. To ensure a uniform mix, the components should be thoroughly stirred prior to use.
- ELASTOSIL® N294 is a moisture curing silicone sealant. For this reason the curing rate strongly depends on both temperature and atmospheric humidity in the surrounding.ELASTOSIL® N294 can be applied with standard silkscreen printing equipment.
