1 of 18 products in this brand
PULPSIL® 733 E is a low-viscosity, highly effective silicone antifoam emulsion specifically designed for use in pulp mills. It serves as both an antifoam agent and a drainage aid, and can be added at different stages of the manufacturing process. PULPSIL® 733 E is primarily used in pulp washing and screening processes, but it is also effective in bleaching and wastewater treatment.

  • Pulp Solutions
Application Details
  • In general we recommend to stir the emulsion before use (approx. 3 minutes with a propeller stirrer at 200 - 400 rpm). But be cautious: too high shear can break the emulsion. The emulsion should be added undiluted, as it is already sufficiently dispersed by its emulsion form.
  • If a pre-dilution still should be necessary, we recommend dilutions with cold water in proportions of 3 parts emulsion : 1 part of water to max. 1 part emulsion : 1 part of water. Sufficient quality of this pre-dilution should be checked by previous trials in laboratory scale. For manufacture of the pre-dilution add first the emulsion and then add the water under weak stirring.
  • The ready-made dilution has to be agitated 2 to 3 times a day for 15 to 20 min by weak stirring and should be processed within few days. PULPSIL® 733 E acts primarily as an antifoam agent and drainage aid and may be added at various stages during the manufacturing process. PULPSIL® 733 E is mainly applied to pulp - washing and screening processes, but is also effective during bleaching and in waste water treatment.
