Applications
  • Construction Molding
  • Making molds for concrete casting.
Application Details
  • Due to its outstanding resistance to concrete and superior mechanical properties, ELASTOSIL® M 4635 A/B is perfectly suitable for all molds of models with undercuts that are to be reproduced in casting resins, and a certain inherent rigidity of the molds is required.
  • As a medium-Shore addition-curing RTV-2 silicone rubber that cures without undergoing demensional shrinkage, ELASTOSIL M 4535 A/B is also extremely suitable for casting other common reproduction materials, especially casting resins where absolutely accurate copies of models are required.

Processing

Important:

  • The platinum catalyst is contained in component B.
  • Only components A and B with the same lot number may be processed together.
