Processing

SEMICOSIL 9672 TC is preferentially processed from hobbock using follower-plate and high pressure feeding technology. Presence of abrasive fillers requires the use of suitable equipment for feeding pumps and dispensing head. Material is non slump, however contains high density fillers. In order to warrant material properties after storage in the hobbock container it is highly recommended to homogenize the content in the hobbock prior to use using a biaxial mixing system. A 3-5 min biaxial shaking process is sufficient to rehomogenize the material in the container.

Storage Conditions
  • SEMICOSIL® 9672 TChas a shelf life of at least 6 months when stored between 5 °C and 30 °C in the originally sealed container.
  • Prior to use a homogenization of hobbock containers using a biaxial mixing equipment is highly recommended.
  • The 'Best use before end' date of each batch appears on the product label.
  • Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
