- Application Details
- WACKER® 23167 VP is used for the formulation of release agents for the thermal molding of rubber, plastics, and lowmelting non-ferrous metals.
- The active ingredient of WACKER® 23167 VP is a modified silicone fluid whose special chemical structure imbues it with the benefits of silicone fluids and mineral oils.
- It is mainly recommended for release problems where the demoulded parts are subsequently painted, printed, coated or bonded.
- The specific non-ionic emulsifier system in WACKER® 23167 VP facilitates combination with emulsions of other release agent actives.
- In addition, WACKER® 23167 VP may be easily diluted with water at any time. Though being diluted, it exhibits good storage stability. However, preliminary trials on compatibility and stability must be performed. WACKER® 23167 VP has to be stirred well before use.
