WACKER® E 3155 is a nonionic oil-in-water emulsion of a medium-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane dispersed in water. The emulsion maintains stability under shear stress, even in diluted form. It offers excellent wetting and spreading properties and can be easily incorporated into cold-stirred formulations. WACKER® E 3155 is suitable for formulating release agents in rubber processing.

Application Details
  • WACKER® E 3155 can be used for the formulation of release agents in rubber processing. Furthermore, the emulsion is suitable best for the formulation of paint and vinyl conditioners.
  • The polydimethylsiloxane ingredient supports an easy polishing of the conditioner formulations and improves the brightness.
  • In rotary offset printing, WACKER® E 3155 improves the heat resistance of the paper web and reduces its sensitivity to shear.
  • WACKER® E 3155 bestows good antiblocking properties on the paper web making it resistant to mechanical stress and letting it glide over the rollers very easily.
  • WACKER® E 3155 has to be stirred well before use.
